​MOH Holdings (MOHH) is the holding company of Singapore’s public healthcare clusters – National University Health System, National Healthcare Group, Singapore Health Services, Alexandra Health System, Jurong Health Services and Eastern Health Alliance.

Healthcare Merit Award (HMA)

The Healthcare Merit Award (HMA) is awarded to promising students with strong academic track records and a passion to pursue great careers in public healthcare.

Requirement

• Singapore Citizens or Permanent Residents intending to take up Singapore Citizenship

• Keen passion to make a difference in public healthcare

• Strong people and communication skills

• Good GCE ‘A’ Level results (with at least 10 academic units), Polytechnic results or equivalent (e.g. IB Diploma or High School Diploma)

• Good CCA records
 

Value of Scholarships

Overseas:
• Tuition fees and other approved charges
• Monthly maintenance and other allowance (e.g warm clothing, settling-in, computer)
• Return economy airfare
• Clinical placement allowance
• Opportunities for sponsorship of approved student exchange programmes, seminars and conferences
• Developmental programmes during course of study such as vacation attachments to healthcare institutions, MOH

Local:
• Tuition fees and other approved charges
• Monthly maintenance and other allowance (e.g hostel, settling-in, computer)
