NTU-NIE Teaching Scholars Programme (TSP)

The NTU-NIE Teaching Scholars Programme (TSP) is one of the NTU’s Premier Scholars’ Programme. It is prestigious award for outstanding scholars with a passion and calling to be professional leaders in education. TSP aims to produce graduates with intellectual rigour, strong leadership, and relevant global perspective to make significant contributions to education.


Possess outstanding Singapore-Cambridge GCE 'A' level, Diploma awarded by a polytechnic in Singapore, NUS High School Diploma, IB Diploma or Year 12 equivalent qualifications. Excellent co-curricular records. Strong leadership qualities and potential. Requirements as stipulated by MOE scholarship/award.

Applicants must apply to the Ministry of Education for a scholarship or award to be eligible for this programme. The value is ties to the scholarship/award given by MOE.

Choice of Courses

TSP is a 4-year programme that includes an exciting multi-discplinary curriculum that supplements the core curriculum in the Bachelor of Arts (Education) / Bachelor of Science (Education) programme. The programme features a carefully designed curriculum comprising a wide selection of electives, seminars by distinguished professors, industry luminaries, as well as personal guidance by top faculty members.
