The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) leads Singapore’s digital transformation with infocomm media. To do this, IMDA will develop a dynamic digital economy and a cohesive digital society, driven by an exceptional infocomm media (ICM) ecosystem – by developing talent, strengthening business capabilities, and enhancing Singapore's ICM infrastructure. IMDA also regulates the telecommunications and media sectors to safeguard consumer interests while fostering a pro-business environment, and enhances Singapore’s data protection regime through the Personal Data Protection Commission. SG:D Scholarship (Polytechnic)

<p>The future is digital, and the convergence of infocomm media (ICM) opens up a world of possibilities. The Singapore Digital (SG:D) Scholarship empowers you to deepen your skills and chart your own career path in an ICM job role in any organisation.</p>


• Be a Singapore citizen; • Fresh "O" Level Graduate with good results; • Have good Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) records • Possess a strong interest in the Infocomm Media industry • Matriculate into an approved Infocomm Media-related studies (as approved by IMDA) offered at any of the five local polytechnics

Value of Scholarships

Value of Award: • Full tuition fees and compulsory polytechnic fees • Pre-studies allowance (which includes laptop allowance) • Funding support for courses and certification • Support for Overseas Internship(s) in Infocomm Media-related roles which includes:    - Economy class return airfare; and   - Cost of living allowances • Support for overseas exposure (e.g. student exchange programme, study trips, overseas competition)

Choice of Courses

Eligible Course of Studies:  • Infocomm Media-related courses (i.e. courses under Information & Digital Technologies cluster or Arts, Design & Media cluster)
