The Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) leads Singapore’s digital transformation with infocomm media. To do this, IMDA will develop a dynamic digital economy and a cohesive digital society, driven by an exceptional infocomm media (ICM) ecosystem – by developing talent, strengthening business capabilities, and enhancing Singapore's ICM infrastructure. IMDA also regulates the telecommunications and media sectors to safeguard consumer interests while fostering a pro-business environment, and enhances Singapore’s data protection regime through the Personal Data Protection Commission. SG:D Scholarship (Undergraduate)

<p>The future is digital, and the convergence of infocomm media (ICM) opens up a world of possibilities. The Singapore Digital (SG:D) Scholarship empowers you to deepen your skills and chart your own career path in an ICM job role in any organisation.</p>


• Singapore citizen • Good Co-Curricular Activities (CCA) record; • Have a strong portfolio if applying for a creative or film-related course • Possess strong interest in an infocomm media career • For Full Scholarship - 'A' Level, IP/IB, or Polytechnic results • For Mid-Term Scholarship - current undergraduate in an infocomm media related degree at a local autonomous university or renowned overseas university with minimally 1 year of studies remaining from the point of award

Value of Scholarships

Value of Award: • Tuition and other compulsory university fees • Living allowance • One-time Pre-studies allowance including settling-in and computer allowance • Support for overseas internship(s) in Infocomm Media-related roles which includes:   - Economy class return airfare; and   - Cost of living allowances • Support for overseas exposure (e.g. student exchange programme, study trips, overseas competition) • Funding support for courses and certifications

Bond Duration

Bond duration: Opportunities to serve your bond in an Infocomm Media-related job role in any organisation and in any industry, subject to IMDA's approval. • Full Local scholarship – 3 years bond • Fast Track Bachelors-Masters scholarship – 4 years bond • Full/Mid-term Overseas scholarship – 2 to 5 years bond dependent on the duration of sponsorship • Mid-term Local scholarship – 1 to 3 years bond dependent on the duration of sponsorship

Eligible Course of Studies: Infocomm Media related courses which includes: •Artificial Intelligence •Cybersecurity •Data Analytics •Immersive Media •Film / TV Studies •STEM courses (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) •Language courses in Malay, Tamil and Chinese
