Scholarship Details

The Home Team works together as one, in close partnership with the community, to keep our Home safe and secure. The Home Team consists of the Ministry HQ, seven departments and two statutory boards. Each Home Team agency has a specific role and responsibility but all share a common mission and vision.  

SCDF Paramedic Scholarship

The Home Team Diploma Sponsorship is awarded to talented polytechnic students who demonstrate leadership, have the drive and resilience to take on challenges and who share MHA's vision to keep Singapore safe and secure. We sponsor you for a three year full-time diploma education in any of the local five polytechnics.

Requirement

• Singapore citizens or Permanent Residents intending to take up Singapore Citizenship 
• Good co-curricular activities (CCA) records and Physical Fitness (PES A or B)
• GCE ‘A’ Levels (with at least 10 academic units), International Baccalaureate (IB), Polytechnic Diploma (with Merit) or equivalent 
• Good performance in National Service
• Keen interest in a career with the SCDF

Value of Scholarships

• Tuition and other approved fees 
• Monthly overseas or local maintenance allowance 
• Pre-studies allowance e.g. settling-in, warm clothing, computer 
• Return airfare for attachment programme
• Sponsorship for exchange programmes (if requirements are met)
