
The scholarship gives you the flexibility to choose to study either a local or overseas course. You will receive full sponsorship for a local course. For overseas courses, IRAS will partially sponsor you the same amount as the sponsorship for an equivalent local course.
Local scholarships cover:
• Maintenance allowance (inclusive of hostel allowance and book allowance)
• Pre-studies allowance
• Computer allowance
• Miscellaneous allowance
• Tuition and other compulsory fees
• Attachment with IRAS
• Sponsorship of approved overseas exchange and Masters programme (if applicable)
• Mentoring by a member of the Senior Management
• Passion to serve and take on a challenging career in IRAS
• Outstanding GCE ‘A’ Levels, Polytechnic results or equivalent (e.g. International Baccalaureate (IB), NUS High School Diploma)
• Singapore citizens and permanent residents (PRs) intending to take up citizenship
• Outstanding CCA records and leadership qualities
• Those currently serving NS are also eligible to apply
Bond of 4 years
You may pursue any course of study in approved local universities for local awards and top overseas universities for the overseas awards. The course of study should have relevance to the different areas of work in IRAS.
