
The Public Service Commission Scholarship (Teaching Service), or PSC(T), is awarded to outstanding students who demonstrate strong leadership abilities. The scholarship is tenable for undergraduate studies at both local and overseas universities.
Upon completion of your studies, PSC(T) scholars will be placed on the Public Service Leadership Programme. You can look forward to a career that will include policy formulation and leadership roles in the Education Service and wider Civil Service.
• Be a Singapore Citizen
• Excellent GCE A-Level, International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, Polytechnic Diploma, NUS High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong leadership qualities and passion for education
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent CCA records
• Monthly Allowance
• Tuition Fees and other approved charges
• Maintenance and pre-studies allowance
• Return economy airfare (for overseas studies only)
• Developmental programmes during undergraduate studies (e.g. school attachment and HQ internship)
• Opportunities to participate in overseas school attachment
• Sponsorship of approved student exchange programmes, summer programmes and CCAs
• Possibility of sponsorship of Master’s degree (if requirements are met)
• Be enrolled into the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) teacher preparation programme at the National Institute of Education (NIE) as a salaried employee, after completion of first degree
Bond Duration:
6 years for an overseas English speaking country, 5 years for an overseas non-English speaking
country and 4 years for Singapore.
