
The Loke Cheng-Kim Foundation Undergraduate Scholarships invite applications from Singapore citizens or permanent residents entering first-degree programs at established local or overseas universities in the 2026/2027 academic year. Targeted at students pursuing Natural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, or Pure Humanities, the scholarship seeks individuals dedicated to conservation, sustainable development, and the advancement of natural and cultural heritage. Applicants must demonstrate strong academic and co-curricular achievements, independent thought, and genuine commitment to their chosen fields through activities beyond school curricula, supported by a personal statement outlining career aspirations. The award covers tuition fees, book and maintenance allowances, and for overseas scholars, settling-in costs and a one-time return airfare, tenable for the full duration of undergraduate study.
• Applicants should be Singapore citizens or permanent residents and should not be current holders of other scholarship awards or grants
• Applicants who are committed to pursuing a life path in conservation, sustainable development, advancement of our natural and cultural heritage or otherwise in the betterment of life on earth in all its aspects, whether as scientists, innovators, field workers, or other dedicated professionals.
• Candidates should have a strong record of academic and co-curricular achievement. Consideration will be given only to those who show a capacity for independent thought, together with a deep and genuine commitment to their respective chosen fields. This must be demonstrated by knowledge, activities and initiatives in those fields, outside of the framework of their school curriculum
• Scholarship’s annual value will cover fees and book allowances, maintenance allowance and in the case of overseas awards, an initial settling-in allowance and one-time return economy class airfare.
