The MaritimeONE Scholarship Programme is an initiative spearheaded by the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) and its maritime partners to nurture talents for Singapore’s maritime sector. Sponsored by some of the industry’s leading organisations, the scholarship programme supports various local and overseas diploma and degree programmes. In addition to providing financial incentives, these sponsors have pledged their commitment to the programme by offering MaritimeONE scholars possible career and internship opportunities.
The requirements vary between different sponsors, but below are usually the main requirements.
• Outstanding academic results
• Good leadership skills and character
• Active CCA records demonstrating leadership qualities and community involvement
• Demonstrate interest in maritime business and intention to pursue career in maritime industry
• Annual Award of S$14,500
• Opportunity for sponsorship of approved student exchange
• 1 year sponsored to 1 year bond (either to sponsoring company or Singapore Maritime Industry)
