The NUS Sports Scholarship is awarded to highly-talented individuals who possess outstanding academic and sports participation and representation records. NUS Sports Scholars are uniquely well-rounded individuals who are committed to bring NUS Sports to greater heights.
• Singapore Citizens
• Strong leadership qualities and potential
• Good co-curricular activities record, particularly in sports
• Possess good Singapore-Cambridge GCE A Level, local polytechnic diploma, International Baccalaureate diploma, NUS High School diploma or equivalent qualifications.
• Full subsidy for tuition fees (after MOE Tuition Grant subsidy)
• Annual living allowance of S$6,000
• S$4,375 annual accommodation allowance if scholar is staying on campus
• Guaranteed offer of on-campus accommodation (excluding Residential Colleges) for first two years of undergraduate studies
• Guaranteed offer of a 1-semester overseas Student Exchange Programme
• Bond-free
• Any full-time undergraduate course leading to a first degree, except Music

Is this scholarship open only for Singapore Citizens? My son is a permanent resident and he is part of the Philippine National Youth Pool for Bowling. Could he apply for this scholarship?
