Established in December 2014, the GZ Charitable Trust Scholarship is made possible by the GZ Charitable Trust.
The Scholarship is available to full-time undergraduates at the Singapore Management University and seeks to motivate outstanding undergraduates with demonstrated financial need to achieve academic excellence.
-Full-time incoming first-year undergraduates enrolled in any programme of study (with preference for students from the School of Economics and Lee Kong Chian School of Business)
-Singaporean or Singapore Permanent Resident
-Good academic achievements with demonstrated leadership potential
-Active CCA and/or community service involvement
-Demonstrated financial need
-Tenable for up to four (4) years of the recipient’s course of studies, subject to the recipient’s continued observance of the eligibility criteria and the terms and conditions of award
-Valued at $15,000 per year
-The scholarship will offer financial support towards the recipient’s tuition fees and/or study-related expenses.
-The recipient is expected to participate in meaningful community projects in key areas of need.
